We need volunteers each week to serve as ushers by greeting worshippers, distributing bulletins, collecting the offering, and clearing the pews after the service. Wendy Jewell is the head of Music & Worship committee, please reach out to serve as an usher or if you have any questions.
Volunteers are also needed to help in the nursery and with children’s chapel. Contact our Director of Children and Youth, Ken Carrington if you would like to help with Sunday or midweek children’s ministry opportunities.
Come for a Prep Day May 17, 2022 from 10:30-noon upstairs in the conference room. You can also support VBS by helping to provide supplies for the week. View the Wish List on Amazon.

All volunteers will need to attend one orientation on either June 4th or 5th. There are opportunities to help even if you aren’t available June 13-16th.

THORNWELL EMPHASIS MONTH – Thornwell’s mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect, build and reunite families, and support healthy communities in the name of Jesus Christ. Read about Timothy, who was just 13 when he arrived at Thornwell, here.
In our own faith walk, let us remember Timothy’s journey from unimaginable suffering to faith and love, and give generously to Thornwell. The special offering will be given on November 21st, the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Give here today.
