MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDIES    Women's Bible Study  – This group meets on  Wednesdays  at 6:00 p.m. upstairs in the conference room. You are welcome to join these ladies as they go through the Beth Moore study  Entrusted . Please contact  Sue  for more info.   NEW! Moms' Bible Study  – Join a group of women for a weekly bible study on  Thursdays  at 9:00 a.m. upstairs in the conference room. Together they will discuss passages from  Desperate: Hope for the Mom Who Needs to Breathe. The group will watch a clip for discussion at the beginning of each meeting, you can be just as involved whether or not you have the time to commit outside of the class to read the book. Come for our third annual Trunk-or-Treat Night, Sunday,  October 27th  from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Bring your kids for an extra excuse to don their costume!  This will be a fun evening of intergenerational food and fun, so whether or not you have kids dressing up, please come for dinner and decorate your car and be part of the evening of fun and fellowship. Peanut-free candy and small toy donations are needed and can be dropped off in the donation box in the education building. Please contact  Sarah Craven  if you’ll be able to decorate your car for the Trunk-or-Treating.

The “Faith Build” is an opportunity to put your faith and love into action to assure that a decent, affordable home is ready for a Habitat family. We’re blessed to have Charleston Habitat for Humanity working right here in our community helping low-income families achieve their dream of homeownership.  Habitat homes are built primarily with volunteer labor. No experience is necessary to build! The build continues Wednesdays through Saturdays through October. If you can’t volunteer all day you can choose either the morning or afternoon shift.  Check the  Volunteer Calendar  for available dates. All volunteers must complete an online  Volunteer Application  and  Volunteer Waiver of Liability  prior to volunteering. Journey, our Presbyterian campus mission to the College of Charleston and Citadel, is looking for women's mentors for 2019-20 academic year. The commitment consists of worshiping with the college students on Thursday nights from 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm and meeting with one or two assigned mentees once every few weeks at a mutually convenient time. Please consider participating in this incredibly rewarding program. From recent grads to grandmas, all ages are wanted!   If interested, contact the new Director of Campus Ministry,  Kyle Collins  for more information.

The Tywanza Sanders Legacy Foundation was created to honor Tywanza, son of Felicia Sanders, who was one of the victims of the massacre at Emanuel AME Church next door.
